We are seeking an entrepreneurial UK Marketing Manager to grow our audience and increase our users’ activity in app. You will also contribute more broadly to the team by providing operations expertise, a data-driven mindset and a “get-things-done” attitude. This is a pivotal role for the business, we are experiencing strong growth and need a passionate and performance driven leader to make things happen in a dynamic work environment (think start-up team within a public company)!

Job Description


  • Local Retention & CRM actions (Newsletter, Push notifications, in app content).
  • Community management and animation of social networks.
  • Brand awareness / PR / Partnerships / local initiatives
  • User Happiness / User support.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Help the User Acquisition team to adapt the global strategy to the UK market (content and targeting).
  • Grow and optimise the UK affiliate program.
  • Run the local CRM actions (Email, push, marketing automation).
  • Engage our users through social networks (Facebook, Instagram) & set up influencer marketing campaigns.
  • Develop Shopmium brand awareness and audience through partnership and PR initiatives.
  • Maximize user satisfaction by providing them with a fast and friendly support.
  • Work closely with the product, retention and acquisition teams to prioritize improvements and new initiatives.
  • Management of a Marketing Executive.


  • Be an integral part of European teams sharing best practices & learnings.
  • Establish a robust reporting process to track KPI’s and ROI.
  • Understand Shopmium brand positioning and help us advance it to the next stage.
  • Regular management reporting to support strategy, investment and results.
  • Be in tune with industry developments - adopt a test, learn and evolve style of work.
  • Reporting to the Marketing Director.

Preferred Experience

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Prior user acquisition and / or user retention experience across web / mobile channels
  • Good project management and multitasking abilities
  • Analytically strong, data-driven decision mentality and comfortable using reasoning
  • Results focused, strong sense of responsibility and follow-through
  • Role is both strategic and hands-on, whilst some support is available at either end, you must be comfortable working across both areas. This is a hands-on manager role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing a bonus as is any professional training
  • Working experience 3-5 years
  • French is a plus
